Wag’n World 5th Annual Donation Drive!

Wag’n World’s 5th annual blanket and food drive will take place from November 1st to November 30th. All donations will be taken to the Harris County Pets Animal Shelter. Drop off food and blankets for both cats and dogs at our Montrose or Heights facility. The list of items the shelter is in need of are as followed:

  • Cat & kitten food (dry & canned)

  • Cat toys or enrichment items

  • Cat beds (small & washable, NO large dog beds)

  • Cat treats

  • Blankets (small fleece blankets are preferred)

  • Dog & puppy food (dry & canned)

  • Dog treats

  • Pet training pads or "pee" pads

  • Bath mats and bath towels (must be clean)

  • Peanut butter - creamy only, can not contain xylitol or birch sugar

  • Bleach and Laundry Detergent

  • Electric heating pads

  • Newspaper

  • Hand sanitizer

There seems to have been some confusion lately on the ability to use BOTH locations.
WE REPEAT! IF YOUR PUP HAS PASSED AN EVALUATION AT EITHER LOCATION, YOU ARE ABLE TO USE BOTH THE MONTROSE LOCATION AND THE HEIGHTS LOCATION FOR ANY OF YOUR PUPS NEEDS!!!! (Daycare, Boarding, and Grooming)

With summer time numbers rising both in temperature and pups visiting Wag'n World, please get your reservations in. If your "Home Base Location" is fully booked, try the other location that is under 5 miles away! 

We hope this clears up any confusion and cannot wait to see you and your pup this summer! :)

POOP IN THE HOOP!

Get your reservations in for the month of May to celebrate with us and GET LUCKY! Since it is our lucky #7 years of service, Wag’n World welcomes you all to participate in our new game POOP IN THE HOOP! When you drop off your dog for daycare, boarding, or grooming and your dog poops in a hula-hoop in their play yard, not only are they “winning when they’re wagging”, but they are winning you some major opportunities to save!

1 poop in the hoop = 1 free day of daycare or 1 night of boarding (dependent on what your dog is there for that day).

Here at Wag’n World, safety is our #1 priority with anything. If a hurricane were to develop know that communication prior to the storm would be discussed heavily. Arrangement for pickup by you or another family member if you’d like would be an option. If it came down to it and the storm progressed, if I have to transport boarding dogs to safety with a rental van so be it. Your dogs are my #1 priority. As far as flooding with Wag’n World, we sit up very high from street level, that is nothing to worry about. During Harvey we were clear and safe in harms way.
