Open-play benefits + risks
Supervised open play supports exercise, confidence, socialization, and mental stimulation. Shared dog environments also carry normal risks.

Behavior + group approval
Not every dog is comfortable in open play, and that is okay. Safety concerns may prevent or end group participation.
- Fearfulness, snapping, aggression, resource guarding, or repeat mounting may affect approval
- Redirection may include lead breaks, short kennel time-outs, or removal from play
- Parents are notified when a dog cannot safely remain in group

Does every dog need an evaluation?
Yes. Every dog must complete and pass an evaluation before joining daycare or boarding group play.
What vaccines are required?
Current Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo (DHLPP), and Rabies records are required. Records must include your dog's name and next due dates.
What age can dogs begin?
Dogs must be at least 15 weeks old and have all required puppy vaccines completed.
Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?
Dogs older than 7 months must be spayed or neutered to enter daycare or boarding.
What if my dog does not pass?
If group play is not a safe fit, our team will notify you and discuss available recommendations or alternatives.
