Wag’n World’s mission is to provide a safe, active, and healthy recreational environment that will improve the quality of life for both dogs and their parents. We provide a unique social experience for dogs while we are committed to providing the highest pet care available. We are passionate about what we do and treat your dog as if they are our own. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff will fully supervise your dog with plenty of love, care, and exercise while you are away from home or at work. Wag’n World was started by Nathan Rao in 2017 after he left a 12-year career in oil and gas to pursue his passion for working with dogs. The business faced a number of early challenges, but with strong community support and a dedicated, talented team he persevered. He’s proud of the family and company culture he’s built and is optimistic and excited about the future. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys working out, spending quality time with family, and doting on his rescue dog, George.

Emily began her Wag’n World journey in 2019. You can always catch her reading fantasy books featuring dragons in her off time. Emily’s true loves are Daenerys (Dany), her 11‑year‑old boxer mix, and Cyndragosa (Cyndr), her 2‑year‑old German Shepherd/Pitty/Bulldog mix. Look for them camping at state parks or in the Hill Country, where they frequently go hiking and play in the rivers and lakes. Emily is proud to serve as Wag’n World’s COO and Regional Human Resources Director and strives to provide an exemplary experience for employees and clients alike.

Parker has been a part of the Wag’n World family since 2020 but has been professionally caring for animals for 10+ years. Outside of work, she spends her free time volunteering at the Houston Zoo, various animal shelters, and wildlife rehabilitation facilities. She has an Aussie mix named Riley, and they enjoy exploring the outdoors together by hiking, camping, and swimming. She is thrilled to be the general manager for the Montrose and Heights locations and aims to make every day the best for you and your pup!

Wag’n World welcomed Amber to the team at our original location on Yoakum and she has since rejoined us after adding to her little family.
