Social Media Content Creator Expectations
Wag'n World is looking for a creative, dog-loving, energetic, and highly motivated Social Media Content Creator to bring our brand to life across social media. This person will be on-site at both our Heights and Montrose facilities, capturing real-time photos, videos, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments to share with our vibrant online community.
This is a part-time role, ideal for someone with a creative eye, love for pets, and passion for social media. You'll be provided with a company phone and be responsible for collecting, editing, and publishing content. This role has the potential to grow into a full-time position as our business expands.
The importance of Wag'n World's presence online is paramount to the optics of our company. We are known for our exceptional care for our pups and want our pup parents and the world to know what we do. Our main goals are to project happy dogs, light hearted, current, funny, fun, and safe content to our clients and beyond to enjoy. Below are a list of requirements that are necessary for a content creator at Wag'n World;
Key responsibilities
Visit both Heights and Montrose locations daily to capture video + photo content of dogs, staff, and client moments.
Develop, edit, and post daily content to Wag'n World's social media stories (reels, posts, highlights, etc.)
Develop content calendars, follow through on commitments, and meet deadlines.
Maintain and return company phone daily for content syncing and accountability.
Brainstorm creative content ideas that align with the brand's fun, professional, confident, and warm presence.
Attend regular meetings and contribute to planning.
Support marketing campaigns, events, promotions, and new service launches visually.
Stay consistent with Wag'n World's brand colors, tone, and message.
Monitor traffic, targeted audiences, and engagement. Make adjustments to improve results.
Keep up with content trends, platform updates, and best practices in content creation.
